PAIA: access to information
The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) gives you the right to request access to records held by a private body where the record is needed to exercise or protect a right.
How to request a record
- Email the Information Officer at info@cloudhawk.co.za and say which record you need and why.
- Requests are made on the prescribed PAIA request form (Form 2), which we will send you on request.
- We respond within the period PAIA allows, and will tell you if a prescribed fee applies or if access is refused and why.
Our PAIA manual
Our PAIA manual, which lists the categories of records we hold, is available on request from the Information Officer.
Records of your scheme
Records that belong to a body corporate or homeowners' association, such as rules, minutes and financial statements, are requested through that scheme's trustees or directors, or its managing agent.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator: enquiries@inforegulator.org.za, 0800 017 160.
